Location, Location, Location

I always think that location play a very important role in the success and failure of a birdnest farm. This is the same with running a business, like retail business. The very first factor in determining if you shop is going to be successful or not is the traffic flow of your retail shop. This is the reason why the front shop is more costly than the shop behind the main street. When the traffic flow is high, the chances of potential work-in customer(hit rate) is higher than those shops behind. For swiftlet ranching, we apply the same rule. I do not mean the front shop, but the shop or location with higher traffic flow of swiftlets. There are always three strategic locations, they are namely: swiftlet central, flying path and foraging area. There are always advantages and disadvantages of each area. Read more books related to swiflet ranching, especially from Indonesia, you will be more equipped to answer these questions.
